Praying, offering up : this is another way of participating in the building of the Church. The activities of some depend on the prayer of others for support.

Sharing of one's time...

Everyone can come and share in the life and work of the Foyer, for example helping during a week of retreat, taking part in a workshop, giving of one's time for voluntary work in a Foyer elsewhere in the world, living a period of discernment.

Sharing of one's good...

Financial or material aid helps in the construction, extension and transformation of the Foyers so that they may better serve their purpose of evangelisation.

In Chateauneuf a foundation which is recognised as being of public utility is at the service of the Foyers. It is habilited to receive every gift or legacy.

While still a student I felt the need to interrupt my studies and take a year off to consider my vocation. I spent this year in a "Foyer de Charité". This is what I retained from this year :

- the harmony that can exist between work and prayer, which has helped me to structure my life.

- the discovery of life in a community.

I received unexpected answers from the Lord: he has shown me that my vocation for the time being is to take up my studies again. And I understood that my future vocation, which I am still unaware of, is being prepared for me by my life today.
